I visit a lot of homes for my job. There are times when I sit down at a table and every seat at a table has been fully set, but it seems they have no intention of eating any time soon. Is it just for decoration or what?
Seems odd unless it's preset for a dinner party or something special, but just to set a table and leave like that isn't really very hygienic.
Why do people always have their table set instead of setting the table for a specific meal?
