The PS3's graphics are getting a outdated now and modern day PC's are becoming like a million times more powerful. When is PS4 going to be released ? It's already 2011. It's been 5 years Sony ! and yet there isn't even a rumour about the PS4. PS3 is getting a **** version of Crysis 2 so it's hardware wouldn't explode from all the thinking it was doing.
But it's 2011 now, PS3 was released back in 2006, yet there isn't even a rumour about the next gen consoles WTF ! ? what has extended the life cycle of game consoles because previous generations were only 5 years long max.
And out of you'r imagination what new features will the PS4 bring to the table you think and what type of graphics will it have 
to be honest it seems 3d is the way to go when it comes to gaming so next gen systems will probably be on that format there will be enhanced motion control the games will get shorter though its something i noticed progressively.more social. as for when ps4 comes out well that's gonna be awhile away with the ability of the consoles to update themselves and add features there might not be any other consoles for a long time, with the exception of the wii.
From what I heard many years ago, they weren't planning on releasing one for a good while. The idea was to "upgrade" through firmware releases. think of where it would be without the ability to update firmwares, we'd be at like ps14 by now. The ps3 is actually still very advanced. Game developers still haven't unlocked the processors to their full potential from what I understand. (8 cores! I believe one isn't even used) then again, that would take YEARS of developing. I've sifted through the internet and have come across ps4 rumor/news sites and concepts for it. I think there's definitely some thought on it but nothing I would take as granted as of yet.
well my friend the ps3 is just a good system and i guess sony does not want to make a new system just yet maybe they will make it in 2014 or something if where still alive that is lol
2012 I read it somewhere on sony.com but I really don't remember where.
