What color tile floors and interior paint color with a dark brown leather sofa?

Iam buying a new home and not sure what color to paint the interior wall. also purchased a dark leather sofa and pick out this glass top pearl white or sea shell end table and coxtail table. last but not least I want to put in tile floors but I'm not sure what color would be a good match.. Please help

Choose a color that will go well with any color. Remember, the tile will be there much longer than the furniture you choose. you will want a neutral tile so when you redecorate years to come , the color of the floor will not be an issue. if you want color on the floor , invest in an area rug. Rugs will be much cheaper to replace when you grow tired of the color. the furniture you mentioned will work with any color you choose. I would purchase an area rug or drapes or throw pillows in a pattern and color that you like, then choose one color from the pattern to paint the walls.

i would go with a quality tile in the tan-ish color spectrum. and maybe use a brown grout between them to accent your new couch. you can also find tiles that have a marbled look to them so im sure you can find something to tie in the end tables too. the tan is a neutral color and is better if you ever decide to resell your home.

They sell open cell foam-like sheets which go under area rugs just for this purpose. You should be able to find them at any major department store that sells rugs.

You can area rugs at home depot and lowes. They have a wide range of sizes, but the bigger ones (obviously) cost more (some as high as $1000!).

In your room size, I think you meant 10' x 13'. Lowes has some rugs that around 9' x 12' size, which might work well.

As with many specialty items, you may have to order a carpet in the size and pattern you want.
