Need some garage sale advice…. I'm selling a special-designed coffee table w/matching end tables and lamps..?

I have a coffee table, matching end tables, and matching lamp bases that have been in my family for 40 years. ALL pieces were specially designed in Taipei, Taiwan. All are designed with heavy Teakwood with in-layed blue marble for the top, lamp bases are brass and same blue in-layed marble. both end tables (round shaped-diamater of 2.1/2ft), and including coffee table have storage compartments underneath. The coffee table is rectangular shaped (about 6ft by 2ft) I know a picture would be great, but unfortunately my camera broke. I wish I could keep all of it... it's beautiful!... but, teakwood is heavy (especially w/ the marble), and needs to be oiled from time-to-time. The wood is starting to show its age some... I'm sure there maybe someone out that would sand/and restore it.
So I basically need someone (an antique dealer) or someone knowledgable that could be able help me put a price on such a beautiful and unique furniture set (even though I don't have a picture).
Would greatly appreciate any feedback! thanks!

I can't price for you,but I can warn you- I had a beautiful carved Chinese coffee table that I sold when I relocated for $35 because that is what I paid for it at a yard sale a few years earlier.. The dealer who bought it put it in his shop for $375.
So get an appraisal and then try to sell it.

You probably won't get what it's worth if you sell it at a garage sale. Garage sale browsers are looking for a bargain price on things they want....a steal on things that people don't care about or are unknowingly selling something of great worth for pennies. if you want more money for the set, you will have to take pictures, advertise and/or have someone come look at it. (Get a cheap disposable camera. although I haven't looked for them myself, I hear they have disposable digitals now, too.)

From the history, she's probably trying to protect him.

Who hits their upper arm on the coffee table anyway? Wouldn't you catch yourself before you fell that far or try to move so you didn't hit the coffee table?
