buy a new table! now, wasn't that easy...

Lemon oil or old English wood oil will both mask the stain. This is also how you get water rings out of wood. otherwise, you could sand your table and refinish it.

   supermarket cleaning aisle has lemon oil with the furniture polish

   Lemon oil is great for cleaning and preserving wood furniture and plastics. You can get it at any grocery market, in the section where the furniture polish is.
