I was cleaning my glass top tables, and I set the spray cleaner on top of one, and went to the kitchen for more paper towels. when I went back to the living room, my two year old had gotten the spray cleaner and sprayed the TV console, and bottom part of the TV. my first concern was my son, and I didn't even notice the damage until about fifteen minutes ago, when I noticed the bottom part of the screen was darker, it looks as if liquid seeped in. this happened about two hours ago, and it might be my imagination, but it looks like it's drying and the screen is clearing up. I'd like to know if it's possible for the screen to get dry and go back to normal or not? I dropped my cell phone in water once, and I thought it was damaged, but a few hours later, it dried and it started working....I know it's wishful thinking, but is there someone who can give me advice or suggestions? Thanks
If youre using the typical glass cleaner, it should all evaporate pretty quickly... Better to leave the TV off, unplugged so the little rascal doesnt turn it on and let it dry. like the other guy said, you should be fine.
Is this damage to an LCD TV screen repairable?
