Part 1
- Angie realizes that Brent may have gotten rabies because he got bitten by a stray dog
- She rushes him to the hospital, he is being very immature
- She gets a call the next day, he has it and went into a coma for treatment
- Angie concludes that she really loves him, she just never realized it. She is terrified.
- She texts with her friends, none of them are as concerned as she is
- She starts visiting him everyday after school to see if he came out of his comatose state. She has flashbacks of all the good times they had. each time she visits its another story: Stranded on the island because the raft flew away
- Going camping with friends and getting drunk most of the friends vanish and she and her friend get scared and think that there is a psychopath, etc.
- funny pranks they did on their ex's.
- She goes out to a concert with her friends, lots of drama going on. her friend Michael is being an asshole as usual
- She stays behind with her friend Jay, and they run into someone who looks a lot like Brent.
- Its Brent's father, who left him. Angie is suspicious in why he showed up after all those years.
-Something about Brent's father is very unsettling
-Michael goes away for 4 months to the army, no one misses him because he is always a selfish jerk
-Angie texts with her friends and talks about the drama going on
- Angie gets involved with her friend Jay, her feelings for Brent slowly subside
- Angie is in her bedroom at night and she sees a light flicker at her window. someone turned on the lights in Brent's house.
- She wants to call the cops, but she concludes that its Jay, maybe he went on a walk with his dog earlier and wanted to check in.
- She investigates, someone attacks her and pulls her inside.
-Its Rob Lewis, Brent's dad.
-He is robbing Brent
-He is smoking in cocaine on the coffee table
-He forces her to smoke in the drugs
-Angie starts fainting. he rapes her.
-The last thing she sees is her friend Jay, cradling her, crying, a gun in his hand, Rob Lewis knocked out cold on the floor.
-Angie's at the hospital with her family. Jay demonstrates what happens. She keeps blacking out.
-Angie goes through many different feelings, she goes through an emotional trauma
-Angie takes certain unusual steps because of her emotional state.
-Angie starts dating Jay. She then has sex with him to rid of what she feels is the taint Rob Lewis left on her.
-Angie tries to distract herself with her social life
-Angie stops checking up on Brent at the hospital.
-After the rape when she visited him, she got a huge headache and several flashbacks of what had happened, Brent looks too much like Rob Lewis.
-Angie breaks up with Jay because he turns out to be a player and doesn't have the willpower to tone down his player streak
-Angie goes into depression and she feels really low. She feels ashamed for many reasons. She feels like she betrayed her friend by not being emotionally capable of seeing him.
-Angie turns to drugs
-Angies mom catches her smoking in her room
-Her mom intervenes and Angie goes to rehab
-Angie quits and visits Brent
-Angie gets over herself
-After a month Angie is doing much better
-Her friends invite her to a party
-Angie consumes alcohol, her friends try to stop her but she doesn't listen, after all beer is better than drugs right?
-Angie wake up hammered, she hears the phone ring
-The nurse says that Brent has come out of his coma
-At first Angie feels horrible that she wasn't there when he woke up, but then she feels excited
-She rushes to the hospital, and gets into a car crash
-She wakes up. After some small talk, Brent lays down beside her, and then they kiss.
Part 2
-The kiss was okay for Angie, not as good as she expected, Jays kiss felt better. Angie is confused she thought that they were really meant for each other, had her heart deceived her?
-They date. Angie still has feelings for Jay, but she ignores them
-Brent has developed bipolar, the rabies attack had tampered with his brain.
-Angie and Brent get into another fight, he hits her.
-Angie goes through an emotional time, Brent apologizes.
-It happens again, Angie breaks up with him. She gets Brent help at a clinic
-Angie feels even more broken than ever before
-Michael comes back from the military.
-Michael seems a bit more mature, he plays his moves on Angie
-Angie secretly has feelings for him, she hates herself for that
-It turns out Michael is even more broken than Angie. Its very complicated. Simply, he never had a good example from his father who beat him, he feels like he killed his mother because she died because of him at childbirth, he feels like if he doesn't break a girls heart first and doesn't date with many girls,that one girl will break his heart.
-Angie refuses when Michael asks her out, she doesn't want to risk being in another failed relationship
