I am trying to find out how much an antique console radio is worth…..?

I have a Truetone radio tuner w/ turn table it's a D1752. It was put out by Western Auto Supply co. around 1947. I've looked on the internet, but can't find any for sale all I find are how to order parts. thanks for your help.

I'd try to find it on Ebay and see what they sell for. I did it with my old Zenith.

An auction house may be able to give you an idea.
Off the top of my head I think it wouldn't be worth a lot, since that was before the advent of HiFi, or the common use of FM
Might be worth something to a Hollywood studio as a prop for vintage movies...

  1. Indiana Jones says:

actually within disney's hollywood studios there is an active production company with sound stages, outdoor sets, an editing facility, and a recording studio. basically everything you need to make a film or tv show. (when i was there in dec they were actually filming a disney channel special)
you learn that on the backlot tour attraction at the theme park.
here is just the first few minutes of the ride which talks about the filming capabilities.
