What is the name of the coffee tables that look like an old door? I see alot of antique ones but i dont know what they are called.

It would have been as late as the fifties.Coffee tables were made to compliment two and three seater couches.The length of the coffee table matching the length of the sofa. I remember buying a coffee table after we got married in 1959.The height also about same height as seat on couch.Of course nowadays they come in all shapes and sizes. I saw a really neat round one with drawer space and built-in magazine rack. But as you say, not too great for putting cups on.
